Anchor Salon and Spa is a home based salon in Oak Lake, Manitoba. Run by 6 year journeyman hairstylist and licensed Goldwell dealer, Alayna Hansen, Anchor Salon and Spa offers cuts and hairstyles for men, women, and children, as well as makeup and teeth whitening.

Opening at the end of July 2019, Anchor Salon and Spa provides a much needed service to the town of Oak Lake and surrounding areas. In less than six months of being open, the salon has developed a client base of over 50 clients per week, and provides a much needed service in the community.

Having the opportunity to run a home based salon allows Alayna to run a cost effective business in the small community where commercial space is not readily available as well as allows her to spend time on her family life while running a thriving business. Receiving the pitch prize from the expo enabled Alayna to develop a space in her home dedicated to her clients and the community.
